Mint&Arrows

'Twas a happy mail day when this little cutie came in the mail, so we had to try it out ASAP. the fabric is so soft and light weight, and not to mention, absolutely adorable! With a matching headband, too! No fuss in trying to get the wrap technique correct, and no stressing about it coming undone while babe sleeps, simply slip it on like a sock.

The best part, my daughter, who hates being swaddled and hates sleeping even more, cried for a second as she always does when trying new things, then calmed down on her own and immediately started getting sleepy. I could barely keep her awake for our photoshoot! after we were finished I picked her up and started to rock her and she fell asleep almost instantly. It was beautiful.

SanDiego | harbor tour

Daddy's days off are synonymous with adventure. Before I was pregnant we used to make it a point to go somewhere new anytime we had the day off together. When I got pregnant I got super lazy, and tired and sick (duhh), so I was never up to going anywhere. Plus some financial difficulties at the time as well. BUT now that our little love is out of my belly and I have my energy back, she gets to now join us on those adventures!

Ever's newborn photos | 2wks

We drove to Utah to see my family with a 2 week old baby. Not the worst idea as she slept for most of the 6 hour drive. While we were there my sister did her newborn pictures. These are the photos I took with my iPhone, the ones she took will come later.
