As a first time parent, I want to get my child everything. Whether she needs it or not. I want her to have everything she could possibly want. Obviously, I don't have the means to give her everything she (or I, really) wants, but when it came to her birthday presents from Norman & Jules, we got perfection. Norman & Jules is a toy shop that "celebrates imaginary play". I love that. Everything in their shop sparks creativity and imagination, so I feel confident letting my daughter spend her precious time playing with their toys. And they seriously have everything. I didn't have to shop anywhere else for her birthday presents, and I honestly didn't even want to. I may even use a couple as Christmas presents, too, so she doesn't feel too spoiled for her birthday ;)

Ever's birthday party is going to be on December 10, and her actual birthday is the 19th. I let her play with her presents while I took pictures but I'm going to wrap them up and have her open them on her birthday. Good to know that she loves them all, though.
Here's what we got:
These are so cute and I'm going to love teaching Ever all the animal sounds with them. Except the fox. What does the fox say? (Really bad joke, but I'm laughing inside.)
I can just imagine a little older version of Evvie playing store with her adorable wooden shopping cart and I die.
A Black Wagon. To pull all her other toys around in, of course.
Gumball Machine. This toy is so cute, and it was Ever's favorite out of all of them. The pieces are small, though, so I'll have to keep an eye on her when she's playing with it.
Wooden fruit set. So adorable. It comes with a wooden knife and a cutting board so your child can "cut" the fruit just like mama.
Rock & Pebble dolls. I love that these come with stickers so you can customize the dolls as you want. I'm also a sucker for modern design, and these are amazing.
Fairy Tale blocks. So adorable. I can't wait to watch Ever build castles and then knock them down. This also contains small pieces so I'll be keeping an eye on her while she plays.
Maileg Mice. I've been waiting for the day that Ever was big enough to play with these because I'm obsessed. They are so cute. We got the mum and dad mice and the circus ballerina mouse.
Norman & Jules is seriously heaven on earth if you love well-designed, eco-friendly, creative, and adorable toys. Wayyyy better than Toys R Us. I would love to give Ever everything in the whole shop, but I'm not sure it would fit in our apartment.
