On an evening in Roma 🎶
We arrived to the Rome train station at 6am (we took an overnight train from Venice which Ever loved!), we changed and got ready in the bathroom and bought our city pass then went to our air bnb to drop off our luggage. Our city pass included all trains and buses, but we ended up taking many ubers because of their convenience.
Rome was beautiful, but very chaotic and not stroller friendly. I’m not going to write a huge post because I don’t remember much, and we were only there 2 days, but some notable things we did/saw:
Trastevere - so cute with so much character, delicious gelato.
Vatican City (very cool with all the history, we just walked around outside)
Sistine chapel (actually would not recommend 😬 you have to walk through the entire museaum to get to which took almost 3 hours, no ac, and packed)
Trevi fountain (tried to go early to avoid the crowds but didn’t work out, also it was roped off so we couldn’t get close to it)
Colosseum (we paid to go inside, but not on a guided tour)
we stayed in the cutest air bnb (which I didn’t take photos of) but here’s the link. It was a little too far out of the city than we would have liked but it was very cute and close enough to buses and the train station.
